Kid's Living for Christ!

We are a children's ministry program through the Gaylord Evangelical Free Church.Our main focus is to share the love of our Savior, Jesus Christ, through music, drama, dance. 

 K.L.F.C. (Kids Living For Christ) program meets on Monday evenings at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Call Joshua Rupp with questions.

Philosophy:

Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. - Proverbs 22:6
Believing this and that each child is a precious gift from God, we strive to help each child learn more about Jesus so that they will have truths to rely on during difficult times.  By doing this we believe they will become stronger Christians who will, in turn, be able to share their faith with others.   Any child who has the desire to be in KLFC, (of appropriate age) will be welcome, regardless of musical ability.   While we strive to do our best for Jesus, perfection is not the goal.   Any child who wants to have a solo or a chance to speak on stage will be given that opportunity sometime through the year. No child will be made to feel that they are not "good enough", as we are all worthy in the Lord's eyes.   Later in life there will be several opportunities for "try-outs"; for KLFC we would like the children just to "Come Out and Try"!

Ages:

KLFC is open to any child grades 1st through 6th, who have a desire to be in the children's choir.

Practices:

Monday evenings from 6:00pm - 7:45pm in the chapel, following the Gaylord School 's calendar, unless notified differently.   During each practice, as well as working on the music or specific part of our production, we will have a time of devotion that is age appropriate.   We understand that families are very busy, and there will be times when your child cannot be at practice, however we do ask that KLFC is made to be a priority within the schedule of your child, and that he/she attends as many practices as possible. When children are missing, it is difficult to move forward to the next step, as then we need to help them to catch back up while continuing to make the progress needed to be ready for our performances.   Please notify us if your child will not be at practice, to help us better tailor our plan to be as productive as possible.
